I want my patients to know what is occurring pathologically and how physical therapy can help them. I place a big emphasis on patient education and trying to teach each patient to treat themselves. Utilizing patient education and self-care, Nick attempts to make therapy as individual and self driven as possible. Nick chose the field of physical therapy through sports, weight lifting, and injury prevention. Nick primarily treats orthopedic and movement related disorders, but also has experience with vestibular and Parkinson's patients as well. Nick believes in injury prevention and addressing problems before they become pathological. With the use of selective screening, movement analysis, and specific manual therapy techniques combined with appropriate exercise, many orthopedic issues can be prevented. Nick was born and raised in San Diego and enjoys practicing photography, cooking, hiking, traveling, and working hard in the gym.
